The plot thickens...
I’ve been informed of the name of the Council member who is the source of this sensitive leak.By this time tomorrow, all of Vancouver would have learned the name of the sitting Council member who released the confidential 2010 Olympic $100 million loan material to the media.
I would think that the leak is warranted in the interest of Vancouver taxpayers. Most people think the deal is kind of stinky. If the politicians have not put the city’s finances at risk, why isn’t Ms Lo there at the in-camera meeting.

And this on the heals of a spirited exchange between Louie and the Global reporter who insinuated Louie's involvement. Here is how the Sun described it:

Even Francis Bula (who's blogging on all things civic is outstanding) can't figure out what's happening. She writes (admittedly after a few glasses of wine):

Whoever leaked the info should not be elected. They put partisan interests ahead of those of the city.

Francis Bula has speculated that the leak came from someone with 'nothing left to lose' which prompted many to name Sam Sullivan as the likely culprit. But as Bula says:

See the rest of her blog to follow the speculation.

Sam seems like he could be very vendictive.
