Mussoorie, 4 Dec: ‘Ignition’, the rock band from Dehradun, would soon kick-start its career with a debut album this year.
This was said by the rhythm guitarist, Ashwani, who is also the founder member of the band, on a trip to Mussoorie, today. The band members were here to identify locations for their first, as yet untitled, video album.
Speaking exclusively to Garhwal Post, Ashwani said that it all began with love for music, as it was music that gave them the ultimate satisfaction. He added, “We were a group of friends who got together to rock the world with our music.”
The group consists of Ashwani, Mayur, Abhishek, Dipesh and Chandu. They love playing rock but are adapt at all genres prevalent on the scene be it “Holiday” or a song from “Jal”. Their claim to fame came when they performed live at Garhi Cantt, recently, and were much appreciated. It was then they thought of coming out with their own music album, which is what brought them to Mussoorie. They are in search of locations suited to their lyrics.
Ashwani also said that their next move would be to Delhi, as the valley and Mussoorie do not have a live band culture because the owners and managers of the hotels here have no knowledge of rock music, which was sad in a way. He also said that till the time local music was not supported at home, the musicians could not perform in the big league at the metros. Therefore, Ashwani appealed to the music lovers in the town to support the live events happening anywhere with their presence, which would boost the morale of the bands and make them work harder.

Ignition played a few numbers from “Jal” followed by a few rock numbers and set off for Dehradun later in the evening.

Hi Ajay, Yes it is true that Highlight tool is not working with these browsers. My suggestion is that as we are in the process of developing the software why don't u use manually. Just put [ q url="........"] and put the url of the source there. Also at the end [/q]. This way u don't need to do be dependent on any other tool. Let me know if you have any problem.
