How do we become immortal... gain immortality in this mortal world! As a human being can we ever become immortal... something that does not remain subjected to death any longer! Can we truly become an immortal soul... much above the mundane ephemeral world! When we become immortal... what does it truly mean! Is it the body that becomes immortal or the soul?

twilight.... good series, actually. Read them and you will recognize the insurmountable coincidences his story shares with said books.

Dragons, elves, fairies, vampires, and werewolves, are all creatures believed to be mythological, but found in ancient text, hyroglyphs, wall paintings, filmed in countless movies, and reported by eye witnesses. There has to be some truth behind it all, I cant concieve the possibility that mankinds overactive imagination is the primary source of all these creations.I am intrigued by the thought of them, and there are seemingly so many layers to this one world taking into consideration the realm of man, beast, immortal, and extraterrestrial. I have been witness to UFO hovering mere feet outside of my home trying to camouflage behind trees in the dim lit sky of early morning.I know there are other beings out there, how do I train my senses to pick them out ? There is so much I wish to see and uncover in this world, but fear my life span will not prove lenghtly enough to accomodate my inquisitive
yearnings. If it were possible to attain immortality along with eternal youth imagine the things I could accomplish.I could explore the world and test the depts of my spirituality,oh my god I could have time to explore the limits of this organic vessel of a body and explore science and invent so many things. It would matter not to me that I was outliving everyone I know and love, for I have always been a loner and rather aloof in my nature. I enjoy meeting new people and being of influence and guidance.and after all if I were immortal I would not be alone for there would be other immortals as well.

Food for thought, imagine the universe and our solarsystem in it. Now then if there is a god then there must be others. It is my belife that there are many beings in the universe that might be considerd "gods",and all thay do is go from solersystem to solersystem saying that their this all powerfull god.It might be that that was how the christin religen was started.Imagin all the other gods in the time frame sending images to there cults and one god is cheep and only sends his voice.lol.

You idiot. There are no vampires, there is no way to reach immortality. How can you be so irrational and stupid. Either you're lying or you've been lied to. Either way how can you guys believe this pack of bs from a guy you've never even met or know anything about.
Sadly, there is no after, there is no way to avoid death(yet) and even if there was it wouldn't be by some mystic vampire crap, but rather by some chemicals and such. Even then we wouldn't be able to avoid death completely but maybe add another 50 years to our life span.
Things like these make our society evolve slower because people, smart people even, get afraid of death so much that they want to find a way to avoid it no matter what even if it means listening to a bunch of bs like this.
Wake up people! Go live your lives or do whatever you deem will make it better, make it more complete because there is no way to avoid death and nothing waits after which sucks, I know, but at least it's the truth.

Hi,
I agree with ya...But still people have their own perceptions about things in life....Some believe it only when they see it in real n some believe it just by picturising it.....There are so many vam blogs which mentions about true ghost & vamp stories but no one knows how far its true........

Debluf, you are an unimagintive fool. Human culture was built on belief. From the early humans to the greeks to modern humans, belief has been one of the greatest factors in the development in history. Movies like Star wars insired many many future scientists. There are ways to become immortal, the only thing that will hold us back, is to keep the brain running all those years. You are a sad man, to squash the dreams of people that will achieve more than you. Why did you even come onto this site?

Oostenwaldt...
dont start the religious bs with me
and besides with science these days theres a lot of atheists
and modern society has a secular government which is the base of society
and how many christains go to church 'every' week?
not many.
got it?
society is not reliant on belief
i would more readily accept reincarnation over som 'god' bs
especially with the thoughts I think of for no apparent reason
makes u wonder doesnt it?
is som who look a lot like me gonna help som retard like u in 100 yrs

I cannot even understand as to why this is even something people talk about.
I'm astounded to see so many people actually reply to this asking about vampires. They are a myth, non-existant. People can choose to believe what they like, but in reality, they don't exist. I can decide to believe the world is flat. Doesn't mean that it is.
If you want to know how to be immortal, research it. Become a biologist. That is the only path that will lead you there. I believe humans are physically are incappable of being immortal. The body is too complex, and if existing civilian technology cannot decipher the human genome 100%, what makes us think we can be immortal. Notice I said believe. I don't actually know. If I was to try and find out, I'd become a scientist, learn everything there is to the human body at cellular level, and find out if there ever could be a correlation between us and a 4.5 mm hydrozoa.
The only known immortal creature known is currently a Turritopsis nutricula. Google it. See how simple it is and realise immortality is out of the bounds of humans at this day and age. Unfortunately for us, it is not going to happen in our lifetimes. The only way I believe we could ever attune the human body to that sort of biological structure would be if we diced and sliced a few genes in our dna to generate an event that tells our cells to never stop repairing or to turn our aging gene.
I also believe it's out of humans current understanding of the world as we see it. We need to utilise the resources of an electrical based intelligence that we can build, and then perhaps we may lead down that path. Maybe. The only way humans are ever going to evolve past what we know about ourselves today will be if something of a higher intelligence comes and bops us on the head with it. :)
But, that's my opinion, and I can only parlay with the knowledge I have. Imagine if I knew everything. Then I could just sit back and laugh at things like this. Humans asking to be immortal. How preposterous!

a vamp for 34 years, the times they must be hard. well i have not been around as long as that. however i have seen things that most people wouldn't believe. I am interested in what you have done with your time on this planet. Are you still happy? are you rich? do you have friends? are you still afraid of the dark? ? i have seen your kind in the shadows. always so afraid, they never come very close to me at all. i don't know why, do you?
seeing you around.....

You sound kind of stupid for someone that has lived that long and a fifteen year old will attract alot of attention if he stays like that.

thats an awful lot of thus's,in your thirty odd years of immortality did you not think to look at what the word meant?but i suppose being immortal you have plenty of time to look it up.
and by the way i hate it when people comment about somone elses grammer but that really did not make any sense with the word being used so many times, over and over;THUS i commented on it.(you see where it should be used yet?)
