Ind vs Pak 2nd T20 Live Streaming, India v Pakistan 2012 T20 Live
Mohammad Hafeez, the Pakistan captain, won the toss and chose to field in the second and final Twenty20 International against India at Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad on Friday (December 28).
In the only change to their playing XI, India brought in R Ashwin in place of Ravindra Jadeja. Ashwin’s inclusion was widely anticipated because of the dry Motera pitch that was expected to be slow and take turn. Jadeja batted at No.8 in the first T20I scoring two runs, and then conceded 29 runs in 2.4 overs, including the winning hit for six.
Pakistan made no changes to the side that won the first T20I.
“Dew is a factor and we want to chase,” said Hafeez at the toss. “We came back really hard both with bat and ball in the first match and the youngsters showed a lot of energy.”
Dhoni admitted that he wanted to field as well, but said dew wouldn’t be too big a factor. “The start time means dew won’t be a big factor. Bhuvneshwar bowled superbly well and he looks like a smart guy, which is a big positive for us. All three pacers bowled really well in Bangalore.”
The match was being played on the same pitch on which the first Test between India and England took place in November, a little over a month ago. 21 off the 31 wickets to fall then went to spinners, as India won by nine wickets.
