India – the hottest wedding destination

The wedding of singer Katy Perry and comedian turned actor Russell Brand had all put again proved the number one wedding destination is India. Two were the latest celebrity couple in a long line who tied the knot in India over the weekend.

Their wedding took place at the luxurious Aman-e-Khas tented resort on the outskirts of  Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan.  Apparently, guests were treated to an Indian extravaganza complete with wildlife safaris, snake charmers, fire jugglers, Indian dancers, and Rajasthani folk music. Top it all the notorious P Diddy also put on a performance.

India is topping the list for wedding destination for more than one reason – low cost. It is the wide array of sceneries, the magical settings for wedding for which Indian is renowned, the exotic tastes and the aura of spirituality which comes to mind whenever India is mentioned. Then it is the never forgetting wedding that you went to and will always talk about. Don’t forget about the horse or if you can muster the elephant ride and the bridal fashions.
