Ingrid Michaelson @ Bush Hall (London)
Ingrid Michaelson is an Indie-folk artist discovered on Myspace and propelled into the limelight by the inclusion of several of her songs on HBO's Grey's Anatomy with the song 'Keep Breathing'.
Last night's show at Bush Hall (Shepherd's Bush - London) was part of her European tour following gigs in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and others.
The night was opened by two guys from Scotland (unfortunately I didn't catch the name but I'll find out) that have been playing with her during this tour. Great voices and great music! I might be able to upload a small video of them. Allie Moss a great new singer from New Jersey, was doing second voices for Ingrid and duets.
Ingrid was more entertaining than your average gig. She kept making funny comments during the show with the crowd laughing out loud and enjoying themselves. In a couple of ocassions she invited people on the stage to sing with her and one of the girls fit right in it giving a great accoustic show for all of us.
It was a great night filled with lovely Ingrid music and pink lights creating a great atmosphere, making the people at the Bush Hall feel like having a night out with friends.
