The 3rd edition of the International Screenwriters’ Festival, 1st-3rd July, 2008, at Cheltenham, UK, is all geared up for hosting screenwriters from all over the world, according to London-based India EU Film Initiative.   The festival is dedicated to the art, craft, and business of writing for the screen. Bringing together professional industry delegates, high profile guests and new talent from around the world. The Festival provides a unique forum to debate and discuss writing dramatic scripts for film, television and new media.
More top names have joined the line-up of this year's Screenwriters Festival, including some of the UK's most senior television executives.

Jane Tranter, controller of BBC Fiction, including BBC Films and ITV director of drama Laura Mackie will both be high-profile speakers at the event in Cheltenham (July 1-3). Their presence is a further boost to the growing industry credentials of the festival.

Another returning speaker will also be Julian Fellowes, whose latest writing work includes The Young Victoria, which is now in post-production.

Other names already announced for the summer already include Guillermo Del Toro 'Pan's Labyrinth' and 'Hellboy II', and Lucy Prebble 'Secret Diary Of A Call Girl', Deborah Moggach 'Pride and Prejudice' and Peter Kominsky 'The Government Inspector' and 'Britz'.www.iefilmi.com
