Iron Chef Cat Cora and Lesbian Wife Pregnant at the Same Time

Iron Chef Cat Cora is going to have a baby for the first time. The other-mother already has two sons with her lesbian wife Jennifer but this is the first time Cora will carry a baby to term.

However, in an interesting twist to the story Cat Cora won't be pregnant alone. Jennifer is also pregnant with what will be the couple's third child, she is due in April 3 months before Cora.

Both women were fertilized through in-vitro using the same anonymous sperm donor as was used with their two sons making all the children genetically related.

Paternity is not an issue but maternity may be; both Cat Cora and wife Jennifer were implanted with previously fertilized eggs that were stored together and could be carrying the other's biological child.

How is that for a truly modern day romantic twist?

"Jennifer and I are thrilled to go through the wonderful experience of pregnancy together. We started the in-vitro process 5 years ago," said Cora, who is due in July. "This has been a miracle for us and we'll now have 4 beautiful children."

But we're not done. It gets even more interesting.

Cora is carrying Jennifer's biological child. And their second child, now 23 months old, was conceived using Cora's egg, but carried by Jennifer.

In Jennifer's current pregnancy, both women's embryos were implanted, so they don't know who the biological mother is, and they say they don't plan on doing DNA testing to find out.

The same anonymous sperm donor was used for all four pregnancies, making all four kids biologically related.
