Check out the alternate opening for Iron Man 2. It's totally epic. Tony Stark's hangover, that is. It features the "You complete me!" line from the Iron Man 2 trailer, which did not feature in the final version of the film.

Jon Favreau explains why the scene was cut; he wanted more of a surprise when Iron Man lands onstage for the Stark Industries presentation. Also, we get another instance of Tony Stark's casual regard for his fame and responsibility later on, during the birthday party scene.

My only concern with this scene is that Pepper Potts has no visible reaction when Tony Stark gets in her face. His breath would be beyond horrible at that point. Even if she was used to it, the interaction doesn't read properly. Even so, it's a hilarious scene.
