Islamabad beginning to wear the expected deserted look as Eid nears

As Eid-ul-Fitr nears, Islamabad is slowly beginning to wear the expected deserted look with its majority non-native population heading out to their hometowns to celebrate the festival.

There has been a big rush at bus stands and railway stations since Friday, people trying to avail the Eid holidays to the fullest by getting home well in time. Many of the intending travellers opted to travel at night after breaking the fast.
