A million Palestinians eager for shipments  of supplies were  deprived of shipments as other Palestinians in Hamas controlled Palestine took full advantage of the open border to fire off a Rocket into Israeli territory along the Gaza strip.  Palestinians hoping to meet relatives on the other side of the border are effectively barred from crossing the Gaza.

Certainly Hama's who have yet to claim responsibility in the attack from their own controlled area will not be winning any support from Palestinians who can now only catch a glimpse of loved ones behind a closed fence.

Israel seals Gaza crossings after rocket attack

- Israel says it has closed its crossings with the Gaza Strip until further notice in response to a cross-border rocket attack.

A military spokesman says only pedestrian traffic will be permitted through. Palestinians fired a rocket at southern Israel on Monday evening, again violating a recent truce between Israel and Gaza militants. No group claimed responsibility for the attack and no injuries or damage were reported.

Palestinian officials say the closure means that a long-awaited shipment of cement will not be allowed through on Tuesday.
