Jack Tweed to stand trial for rape Jack Tweed has been ordered to stand trial for rape pa.press.net Jack Tweed, the widower of reality TV star Jade Goody, has been ordered to stand trial accused of raping a teenager. Tweed allegedly met the 19-year-old at a West End nightspot before taking her to his home in east London. The 22-year-old, who was not present when his case was briefly mentioned at London's Snaresbrook Crown Court, has already indicated through counsel that he will deny the charge when a plea and directions hearing is held on December 22. The club promoter, who is in custody, will appear via a video link. A co-defendant, Anthony Davis, 25 of Chigwell, Essex, who was at court accused of raping the teenager, will be arraigned with him. The judge, who "provisionally" fixed their two-week trial for April 12, told the estate agent he could remain on bail. Tweed married Big Brother star Jade, 27, shortly before she lost her battle against cervical cancer in March. When Jack wed TV personality Jade goody just before Jades death from cervical cancer,it had been reported he promised Jade, I will make you proud.  Unfortunately,The young Jack has either been set up,or indeed he may be guilty of The rape of a young women who perhaps was a bit starstruck. Jade Goody, loved her Jack, and would turn in her grave if Jack Tweed is proven Guilty. The young man seems to be lost in his sorrow,for I truly think he loved Jade,However hard life became for Jack,under the scrutiny of the press. This is in no way an excuse to harm or indeed rape any woman.
