Jake Pavelka is the New Bachelor on ABC: Jake's Turn to Find Love

Jake Pavelka, from last season's Bachelorette with Jillian Harris, will become the new Bachelor on the hit ABC show, and this time it's his turn to find love.

ABC were deciding between Jillian's cast-offs, Kiptyn Locke, Reid Rosenthal, or Jake Pavelka, but finally they went with Jake because he seems to know how to say all the right things when it comes to pleasing the Bachelor viewers, such as 'I'm on an emotional journey'.

He seems to be really excited about the venture however and perhaps he won't come on as strong as he did on The Bachelorette (remember when he came back on the show because he had to share with Jillian that he thought Wes Hayden had a girlfriend? Turns out he did though).

When asked what he looks for in a future wife, Jake said:

"I'm going to look deep into the heart for character," Pavelka told Us Weekly. "The four most important things to me are similar qualities — someone who is romantic, passionate, compassionate and protective ... and willing laugh at my jokes!"
