Jalur Gemilang - MERDEKA! Happy Golden Anniversary Malaysia (31-Aug-2007)!

"That in the opinion of this Council the Flag of the Federation of Malaya should be as follows:- Eleven horizontal stripes alternately red and white in colour, the uppermost stripe being red, having a blue quarter with a cresent and eleven pointed star in yellow superimposed, the standard size of the flag to be six feet by three feet."

[ps Sep2007: I'll be flying this flag until 16 Sept (the last day of the Medeka month, also the day Malaysia became complete with the inclusion of Sabah & Sarawak to the Federation.]

[ps Feb2008: I noticed an increase in traffic after the Election Commission announced the date of Malaysia's 2008 General Election. Hmmm... wonder if this photo is being used by the Barisan Nasional (BN2008), PAS, DAP or PKR camps in their publications? Has anyone seen this anywhere? Me? Politics? I'm apolitical at the moment :D.
