One of Jamaica’s most well loved media personalities Marc Johnson has been murdered.

The well- known public relations specialist was found dead in his Apartment in Upper St. Andrew Jamaica, shortly after noon by caretakers of his gated complex.

Marc Johnson was one of Jamaica most flamboyant media personalities and worked with many of the music and fashion industry’s biggest names.

Tributes and condolences have been pouring in from all over the world. Grace Jones, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Althea Laing and Sade are just some of the hundreds of international celebrities who have been touched by Marc’s presence in life.

A die-hard product of the ghetto, Marc Johnson slowly became a staple figure on the socialite circuit and eventually became a public relation consultant for Dancehall Queen Carlene, Caribbean Fashion Legend Althea Laing, and most recently the ever famous D’angel.

A good natured and kind hearted, Marc was truly a friend to those would needed one, friend and strangers alike.

On December 2004, Marc saved the life of a young woman who was bleeding to death after being shot. Marc was a passerby, and eventually became her life saver.
Odessa Chambers remembers “She was my helper and marc gave a helping hand without even know her or her connection.”

“Marc was always a phone call away”, reminisced Althea Laing. “He was truly a friend”.

Funeral proceeding will be announced later.
