James Van Der Beek Divorces Heather McComb: Dating Kimberly Brook

James Van Der Beek has finalized his divorce from Heather McComb after 6 years of marriage.

Court records show that the Hollywood couple have negotiated and agreed to the terms of their divorce. The 33-year-old Dawson’s Creek actor will pay McComb the $7,750 per month in spousal support until the end of 2012.

Van Deer Beek will keep their home in North Hollywood and the rights to his film works, including screenplays.

Both have had roles on popular television shows. Van Der Beek has guest starred on How I Met Your Mother, Medium, One Tree Hill and Ugly Betty. McComb has appeared on CSI: New York, Prison Break, Shark and Without A Trace.

The couple got engaged in early 2003 and married on July 5 of that year. A rep for Van Der Beek publicly confirmed their separation on June 10, 2009 and the couple filed for divorce in November citing irreconcilable differences.

As of June 3, they will officially no longer be husband and wife. The couple have no children.

Van Der Beek Dating Kimberly Brook

In December, relationship rumours romantically linked Van Der Beek to model Kimberly Brook after they met in August on a vacation in Israel. They allegedly began dating shortly after.

Days before he filed for divorce, Van Der Beek was seen with Brook at the Roger Room, a bar in Los Angeles.

According to Brook’s Twitter, she is a follower of Kabbalah, as is Van Der Beek. She also tweeted that she hasn’t modeled in years and is currently the Director of Strategy for film producer Jeff Skoll.
