Janie's got a gun...and a Guitar Hero
I'd have preferred New Order, or maybe the Smiths, but somehow I doubt those versions will be following suit. Not everyone can sing like they have a potato in their throat.
CHUD reports that a new version of Guitar Hero, featuring Aerosmith songs exclusively (or at least almost exclusively - a couple of songs by other bands may or may not be included) will hit stores later this year. The game will start with Aerosmith’s fist ever gig and take you all the way through their career to today… which means you’ll be able to stop playing around the time you get to the Get a Grip-era (a.k.a. the time most people realized the band had lost all their talent, if they had not already realized that earlier).
As a promotional tool for the game, those of you who already own GHIII will be able to download “Dream On” for free from February 16-18. Actually, that really might be the only song you need, thereby negating any desire to fork over sixty bucks for the whole game.

The New Order version might be kind of boring considering most of their songs are in the same key and have barely any chord changes. 'Love in An Elevator' all the way, baby.

To Jarret:
Hold on for a second. Don't you think that not being a suitable band for Guitar Hero is actually in all likelihood something to be admired? Personally, most of my favorite bands would probably really suck on guitar hero.
In conclusion: New Order is a really really good band, so nice try
