Jason Priestley Returning to 90210
This new 90210 moves closer to the old 90210 every week: first it was Jennie Garth, then Shannen Doherty, and now Jason Priestley is on board to get involved in the CW network's revamped version of Beverly Hills, 90210.
Admittedly, Priestley won't be reprising his role as Brandon Walsh, but will instead be directing an episode of the show to air next spring.
According to EW.com, Jason Priestley, Beverly Hills, 90210’s original heartthrob, will get behind the cameras and direct an episode of the new CW series. Sources tell the magazine that he will helm the 18th episode to air this spring.
EW also reports that Priestley’s onscreen sister and fellow 90210 alum, Shannen Doherty is making a deal to return to the series for two episodes later this season. “She’s coming back,” says a source. “The deal isn’t officially done, but it’s happening.” Meanwhile the show’s executive producer, Gabe Sachs, would only reveal that Doherty is “in talks.”
