Brooklyn, New York Jedi Master Flynn Michael is searching for his stolen lightsaber and offering a $100 reward for the return of it.

On September 22, 2011 Flynn Michael, the founder of New York Jedi and Brooklyn's Obi Wan, met some other young Jedis at the Project Parlor bar on Myrtle Avenue. According to the Brooklyn Paper, he sat his $400 custom lightsaber down underneath the bar and a few hours later - around 2:13 a.m., a dark Sith Lord stole it.

“I finally got my uber custom saber, and then some jerk walks out with it." said Michael.

The dark lord's face was caught on the bar's security camera. Instead of going to police, he put up a dozen flyers in the Myrtle Avenue area with the robber's face on it, hoping someone would fess up or know who the perp is. He's offering a $100 reward for anyone who can lead him to his blade of light.

In December, Michael had a confrontation with the suspected Sith when he returned to the bar, but the man denied taking the saber.

The self-proclaimed Star Wars fanatic founded New York Jedi seven years ago. According to the website, "The New York Jedi are a community of people and teachers who share practical Martial Arts-based and Stage Combat oriented Light Saber techniques in order to create illuminated stage combat! But we are not character or cannon specific to any story franchise. We give you the exciting option of creating your own hero, from whatever source inspires you! We just focus on the whole light saber thing!"
Although the classes focus on combat, Michael won't be using physical force to get his lightsaber back. He really just hopes the thief will come to the light side and give it back.

It was probably a Jawa. They'll take practically anything that isn't nailed down.

Well, the CCTV camera at the bar did provide a somewhat useful image.
