Jersey Shore Season 2 Confirmed: Snooki, The Situation and More

Despite numerous calls for MTV's Jersey Shore to be cancelled by Italian American groups, it is now confirmed that there will be a Jersey Shore season 2 as cast member Vinny Guadagnino let slip on Tuesday night. The location has now been confirmed to be Miami South Beach.

There is also a rumor that a new cast member will be brought in for the next trip to the Jersey Shore, as Angelina left so early in Season 1. Vinny couldn't help bragging about his success on Tuesday night:

"They want us to do another season," he gushed to a group of ladies at the "Youth in Revolt" after-party at La Pomme.

The women then asked him to go to another venue, but Vinny replied that he couldn't make unpaid appearances.

The Jersey Shore cast members have been enjoying their new-found fame, Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi is not particular about what clubs she goes to, but DJ Pauly D and Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino cost $7,500 per night and Vinny gets $3,500. Ronnie Margo and Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola often get $3,000 for a double appearance. No word on how much Jwoww commands.

The Jersey Shore has even got its own drinking game, and drama with Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino exposed as a stripper before MTV, but the most drama came from Snooki getting punched in the face by Brad Ferro at a bar.

okay honestly... anyone who has anything bad to say about the show should just shut the hell up... its a SHOW made for ENTERTAINMENT and if it honestly bugs you that much then you have no life, or you're just jealous. Theres a thing called a remote control... so change it. and for everyone who says they hate it,... obviously you've watched it a time or to to know how "stupid" it is. i loove jersey shore, i'm glad it's back for a second season! =) now everyone can have that much more to complain about... haaaaters

Oh and I will be taking a vacation to the Jersey Shore this summer for sure! Haven't been there since I was 15 back in '97, so now that I am legal I can have real fun! Hopefully I will see my girl Snooks and Vinny and we can Fist Pump all nite! I am not a hippo so maybe I will be allowed at the house! LOL! Ok and if people don't like the show first of all DON'T WATCH IT, second DON'T POST ABOUT IT NEGATIVLEY! Just change the channel and go on with whatever it is you do.

Just put it this way. People are just mad cause just so happens that Italians made a big hit on tv and so many people are pissed and hating on it. As you see, the haters are all people of the other races. And about the whole "Guido or Guidette" thing, we dont find it offensive no matter the true meaning behind it. Were not like the dumb niggers that instantly wanna fight cause someone calls you a nigger (or in our case,"Guido or Guidette") but at the same time its ok for them to call each other niggers??? No matter who is saying it, its still the same meaning. Just shows how fucking dumb some of the population is.

The only two on the show that are fully italian are vinny, and pauly d. all the rest are biracial of some sort mixed with italian, and jwoww has no italian in her at all. she is irish and spanish are something of that nature. I am not italian but i was adopted into an italian family my mother is fully italian and my father is a quarter italian. We all love the show and take no offense by it. And thats alot comming from my mother who is a 63 yr old hard core generation italian from Providence. The term guido now-a-days means more or less anyone from the age of 21 to mid 30's likes to have a good time, cocky attitude (but charming when need be), pride in their appearance. pretty much what you see on the show exactly.

I watch this show for the entertainment of laughing at pathetic people, living pathetic lives. If it wasn't for the show they would be broke jokes. The girls they pick up aren't even hot and they consider hooking up making out. The dudes are the most feminin men I have ever seen and sammie thinks she's a lot hotter than she really is. She's a dumbass jealous drama queen that can go choke on one.

The reason I started to watch the show was because I kept reading gossip about Snookie online and she got on my nerves for some reason... so I had to check out what all this shit was about!I ended up loving the show, good entertainment and Snookie is funny as hell :) Can't wait for season 2
