Jersey Shore Season 2 Filming Location in Miami Apparently Not Known to Cast

After a season 2 of the MTV favorite Jersey Shore was announced, the question on most minds was where season 2 was going to be filmed and if the cast would return to the Jersey Shore or move to a different location?

Well in early February, the filming location for season 2 was confirmed to be Miami South Beach, and also confirmed by a few other sources such as Access Hollywood and Movieline, but according to a report by RadarOnline, the cast does not know that they are going to be shooting in Miami towards the end of March.

“The show told the cast to be ready for shooting on March 20 but still won’t tell any of them where it will be shooting,”

Also the cast needs to get ready for filming in a most unusual way. They have to undergo background checks and blood work in order to be cleared to take part. They will also unfortunately not be able to have access to TV or Internet or cell phones while they are filming so no secret tweets while on location in the hope that no details will be leaked.

Jersey Shore has proved to be so successful for MTV after what many thought was a rocky start, and while there are still groups calling for it to be banned, MTV knows it is just too lucrative for them and will be going ahead with as many seasons as they can, while they can.
