In an Update in the Jesse James Scandal, in Which he Allegedly Cheated on Wife Sandra Bullock with a Tattoo Model Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee, The Proposal Co-Star Betty White Has Spoken in Defense of Bullock

Betty White and Sandra Bullock became close when they were filming The Proposal with Ryan Reynolds and Bullock presented White with the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award this past January.

Betty White has now spoken out about Jesse James' alleged affair as reported by People Magazine:

"We're all deeply, deeply saddened," White, 88, tells Entertainment Tonight in an interview airing Tuesday. "At such a high point in her life, it's tough, but I think the less other people have to say about it and let her work it out ... the better."

She did say that she loves Sandra Bullock so much and called her one of the greatest human beings on the planet.

Michelle McGee claims that she and James had an 11 month affair, lasting through the time that Bullock was away filming her Oscar winning role in The Blind Side. Since the announcement of the alleged affair about a week ago, numerous pieces of information have been exposed about Michelle McGee, including that she took part in a Nazi-themed photo shoot, she worked on an adult themed webcam site, and she bragged about having sleeping with Jesse James to others.

Both Bullock and James are said to be speaking with divorce lawyers, although no papers have been filed at this time.
