Jessica Simpson`s adorable dog, Daisy, was stolen by a coyote right in front of her. The pop singer`s Maltipoo - a cross between Maltese and Poodle was snatched in Simpson`s garden in Calabasas, California, dailymail reports. The 29-year-old singer has had the 5-year-old Maltipoo for many years and seldom leaves home without her. The dog was a present from her ex-husband, Nick Lachey.

Daisy has even appeared on stage during one of Simpson`s performances.

Jessica Simpson put up posters offering a reward around the neighborhood the next day and set up an email address where people could send any information they had about her missing dog. Simpson also used Twitter in a plea for help. Click here to see the poster.

"My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!"

While many tweets ere sympathetic, others mocked the grieving singer:

But a tweet posted by UnsafestCorpse made reference to the cartoon character Wile E. Coyote, quipping: 'I have spotted the dog in a box marked 'ACME' being chased by a Roadrunner.'

If anyone sees the missing dog, please email findingmissdaisy@gmail.com.

It's the kind of dog that whines and yaps too much and offends people with a serious and superior breed of animal.  For instance, guitarist Zakk Wylde is a noted Rottweiler owner, a loyal and stable breed, fantastic with children that would disembowel any errant coyote that had enough stupidity and hubris to dare walk into their area.  (Zakk Wylde is also known for writing his own songs – something which Simpson is unable to do. Then again, he has talent.) Still, if Jessica Simpson's dog lives, she is offering an installment loans worth for the safe return of her prized pooch.
