Jesus Christ Banned from Prayer by Pennsylvania House Speaker
THE LAST DAYS are unfolding according to the Word of God. "Jesus Christ" was declared an offensive term by Democrat Pennsylvania Speaker of the House House Keith R. McCall. Once the Goverment successfully bans Jesus, they get to be top dog - or wolves . . .
See the announcement by Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt below.

BREAKING NEWS: Pennsylvania House Speaker bans Jesus Christ from prayers. Heroic Pastor Censored. California City also debates vote to ban Jesus from prayers. "California, Stand Up For Jesus!" State-wide Prayer Rally 5 Aug., 6pm in Lodi, CA.
Dear Friends,
The right to pray publicly "in Jesus name" is under new attack in Pennsylvania and again in California. Please let me explain to you exactly what terrible events just transpired...
The Democrat Speaker of the Pennsylvania House Keith R. McCall has just issued (and enforced) a policy which bans the name of Jesus Christ as illegal speech that may not be uttered during voluntary prayers spoken before the Pennsylvania state legislature.
Pastor Gerry Stoltzfoos of Freedom Valley Worship Center in Adams County, PA had been invited to pray the invocation at the State-House on June 30th, but McCall's office insisted on previewing and censoring a written copy of the prayer beforehand.
"I wrote the prayer and sent it to them and they sent back a very short rejection notice," Pastor Stoltzfoos told reporters from One News Now. "So I wrote back, 'I'm curious as to why.' And they said it had an offensive word. 'Can you tell me what the word was?' And they came back and said 'Jesus.'" Stoltzfoos says he prays in Jesus' name because Jesus instructed him to do so in the Bible. In John 14, 15, and 16, Jesus said three times, "the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name." Colossians 3:17 says, "whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus."
McCall's office then refused to allow Stoltzfoos to say the prayer before the legislature. The Democrat's staff told the pastor that Speaker McCall was afraid of lawsuit by atheist groups.
MCCALL'S SPOKESMAN MISQUOTES THE LAW:
Penn. Speaker McCall spokesman Bob Caton told the York Daily Record (after silencing Pastor Stoltzfoos from saying "Jesus"), "It is not an attempt to silence religious leaders, but rather an effort to prevent taxpayers from having to foot the bill of a lawsuit if someone objects to a prayer's contents and chooses to sue the state." He did not admit that if atheist groups sue, the Alliance Defense Fund has offered pro-bono legal defense of Christian prayers before any legislature, at zero tax-payer expense.
"Unfortunately, it's because states like Indiana and Ohio have been sued," Caton misled. "We've followed the example that unfortunately was set in other places. We're bringing Pennsylvania's practices in line with what other states have done."
Actually, Indiana and Ohio have done the opposite. When sued by atheists to ban Jesus prayers, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals bravely ruled to reverse an anti-Jesus ban, and restored pastors right to pray "in Jesus name" in the Indiana legislature. (I know, because my lawyers and I personally advised the Indiana Attorney General who successfully appealed Hinrichs v. Bosma and WE WON a 2-1 appeals court ruling reversing the anti-Jesus policy).
And when the Ohio Speaker Jon Husted had temporarily mollified Democrat complainers by issuing an anti-Jesus prayer policy in 2007, I flew to Ohio and helped the Ohio Christian Alliance mobilize pastors to phone their legislators. So many citizens called to demand free speech, that Speaker Husted bravely reversed his temporary ban, restoring the rights of pastors to pray "in Jesus name" in the Ohio State House. Now in Pennsylvania, Speaker McCall is doing the opposite of what other states and courts have directed.
CHAPLAIN KLINGENSCHMITT FIGHTS "AU" IN PENNSYLVANIA
In 2007, the anti-Christian group Americans United for Separation of Church and State (AU) wrote a threatening letter to four key leaders of the Pennsylvania Senate, demanding they stop and censor pastors from speaking the word "Jesus" in their public prayers. They complained that 25% of the invited pastors used "sectarian language" in prayers before the PA Senate, and threatened a lawsuit if any Jesus prayers were permitted.
When I heard of this in 2007, I immediately wrote my own letter to those same four key Pennsylvania Senators, citing three national polls indicating that 76%, 85%, and 94% of voting citizens support all pastors rights to pray according to conscience, even if they pray "in Jesus name" in a public setting. When the Senators realized they could be voted out of office by pro-Jesus voters, they found their nerve and stood firm to allow Jesus prayers in the Pennsylvania Senate. In fact, PA State Senator Rich Alloway (R-Pennsylvania) heard the story and has already invited Stoltzfoos to pray before the state Senate on July 29th, 2009.
Not all current members of the PA House fear the atheist complainers. State Rep. Dan Moul (R-Adams County) told the York Daily Record that he objects to McCall's prayer policy. "I personally don't think it's reasonable because our country was founded on Christian-Judeo beliefs. That's who started our government," Moul said. "We should never be ashamed to speak about our Christian beliefs. That's what our prayers are for."
Moul supports a reasonable policy that allows rotating clergy from diverse groups to pray as guest chaplains according to their own faith. "Legislators have the ability to leave the floor if they find the content of prayers offensive," he said. "I am extraordinarily tired of the vast majority changing our way of life to accommodate a few," Moul said. As for the argument that the state could face lawsuits, Moul said simply: "Let 'em sue us." Other Reps and Senators remain undecided, so....
CALIFORNIA CITY WILL VOTE WHETHER TO BAN JESUS PRAYERS
On August 5th, 2009, the city council of Lodi, California will debate and possibly vote to ban the name of Jesus from public prayers offered by guest pastors invited to pray the invocation. Under threat of lawsuit by the Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation, Lodi Mayor Larry D. Hansen said he is considering changing the Lodi city council prayer policy (which has traditionally allowed the word "Jesus" to be spoken in 39 of the last 55 prayers) to instead censor all prayers into a moment of silence, rather than allow diversity of free speech.
God Bless you, in Jesus' name,
Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt

PENNSYLVANIA, this is no surprise to me or to millions of other Children of the Most High God. We knew it would begin soon. The other signs are falling into place rapidly. I am also not surprised it happened first in Pennsylvania.

IT IS UPLIFTING TO CHRISTIANS, ALSO! THE GREAT TRIBULATION PERIOD IS VERY NEAR, YET WE DO NOT GIVE WAY TO FEAR. FOR, THE LORD HATH SAID:
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Luke 21:28

Keith R. McCall - Are you mad? First of all Honorable Speaker, will you please read your Constitution? It is based on biblical precepts and will you please learn your Bill of Rights? There is no such thing as seperation of Church and State! So please stop these un-Americna and idiotic provocative actions! An Atheist first acknowledges that God exists but they CHOOSE to reject HIM. Still an Atheist is free to do as they will. However a Crhistian man in the normal state of personal vertical relating with his Maker will refer to Him through Christ Jesus the Son in a prayer. You are practicing discrimination by skirting around the instrument of equal treatment for all by alleging your concerns to be relative to available funds. You should reject all suits that an Atheist opens anyway - they are specious and personal with nothing to do with State Business. I insist that you reverse yourself and revers this nefarious and onerous decision. I will say the name of Jesus any time and anywhere I choose. What in the Hell has gotten into this generation of pathetic elected officials? You are overreaching yourself by extending a very fascistic hand into the lives of many of your constituents and especially those who did not vote for you. Please think again and please know that this is not about state funds - this is about violation of personal freedoms of thousands upon thousands of Americans. Stop yourself and reject this horrifying act.
Thank you in advance for your consideration

You tell them, 1LT Ramos! Tell 'em like it is!
In Washington, there was a "Day of Prayer," with religious leaders of various faiths at the podium. I know one thing for certain - there was no Christian with understanding on that podium. God does not share His position with another.I will say "Jesus," and He will be my Lord throughout all eternity. He will never be supplanted with Big Government. That is why they wish to send Him packing. The animosity against Christianity that I watch grow has nothing to do with hatred for religion generally. I believe it stems from the fact that Christianity is a very exclusive religion. Christians not only believe that Jesus is "a son" of God, but the "only begotten" Son. We not only believe that Jesus is "one" way to God, but the "only name under Heaven whereby men might be saved."
Eventually, Christians will be persecuted for not being more tolerant. The truth is that Jesus is intolerant. God is intolerant. They will not ever make room on Their Holy Mountain for other gods to stand beside them. Never.
I knew years ago that the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center in Atlanta was headed for disaster. I went there and saw that there had been erected a small temple on the grounds that had a plaque proclaiming it to be a "House of Prayer for All Faiths." Martin would have died if he were not already dead. He admired Gandhi very much, as many other people do. They talked together, they had meals together, MLK read and quoted Gandhi. But they could not worship together.
I have many friends of various religions, and this makes no difference regarding my affection for them and my respect for their right to worship as they see fit. I know atheists who are great humanists, and they have more dedication to human rights than some who call themselves Christians. One of my best friends from my college years who remains a great friend of my family is agnostic. I have friends who are gay and some who are lesbians. I respect their right to live as they see fit. Tolerance is possible without a complete merging on every level. Social tolerance has to do with acknowledging that everyone has a right to choose. Basic human rights and religious freedom are two things I hold as belonging to every person. Even God says, "Whomsoever WILL, let him come." He respects what He gave us - freedom of choice.
Ironically, it is not Christians who try to remove the right of religious choice from others, but many people want to remove anything having to do with God and particularly with Jesus from existence. They want to extinguish Jesus and His influence over the hearts of men. I think Government recognizes Jesus as a "competitor." It is written:
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. ~ John 12:32
When Jesus was born, a king planned to kill him. He was an object of hatred for the Pharisees, because they were jealous of the huge crowds he drew. Finally, they got together with the Romans and demanded his execution, believing that to be the end of Him. It was only a new beginning. You would think that those who want increased control would recognize that they cannot ever extinguish Jesus, but they persist in trying.

We sang the following song at church tonight...
Verse 1
I WANNA CLAP A LITTLE LOUDER THAN BEFORE
I WANNA SING A LITTLE LOUDER HIGHER THAN BEFORE
I WANNA JUMP HIGHER THAN BEFORE
I WANNA SHOUT A LITTLE LOUDER THAN BEFORE
CHORUS
FREEDOM, FREEDOM, FREEDOM, FREEDOM
FREEDOM, FREEDOM, FREEDOM, FREEDOM
VERSE 2
I WANNA CLAP A LITTLE LOUDER THAN BEFORE
I WANNA SING A LITTLE LOUDER
I WANNA SPIN WILDER THAN BEFORE
I WANNA SHOUT LOUDER
VERSE 3:
I WANNA LIFT MY HANDS HIGHER THAN BEFORE
I WANNA LOVE YOU MORE THAN BEFORE
I WANNA WORSHIP DEEPER THAN BEFORE
I'VE GOTTA SCREAM LOUDER...
BRIDGE:
NO MORE SHACKLES, NO MORE CHAINS,
NO MORE BONDAGE I AM FREE
NO MORE SHACKLES, NO MORE CHAINS,
NO MORE BONDAGE I AM FREE
HALLELUIAH, HALLELUIAH, HALLELUIAH, HALLELUIAH
HALLELUIAH, HALLELUIAH, HALLELUIAH
It is an amazingly powerful song.
I allowed myself to think about what we were singing about and realized how fortunate we are to be in a church / community / state where it is still a freedom to worship. And then I realized that will not always be and I can't imagine what life will be like when my religion is under attack here at home. That is what is so powerful about this song. This song is about my freedom after all of our freedoms are taken away.
I will not pray that PA & CA and all other government bodies reverse these bans. It is His will.
These are very troubled times we are in so find your peace in His words and know these law makers cannot stop or change our SALVATION.
at 22:51 on July 12th, 2009
Thank you, Pinktadpoles, for sharing the song and Word with us. One thing you wrote, "It is His will," I would like to explore further. Some who read what we write here will not understand that God has a "perfect will" and a "permissive will." Some people, in fact, do not get saved because they cannot understand how a loving God allows human suffering.
It is not God's will that any should be lost, but that all should come unto repentance. However, He did not make us robots, just as He is no robot and we are made in His image. We have free will. He realized that some would use their will wrongly. Just as Jesus looked at Judas, who He knew would betray Him, and he said, "What you do, do quickly!" Jesus did not send Judas to get his executioners because it was His will to die - he prayed to be delivered from having to suffer the cross. Jesus was a young man of only 33, and He preferred to live. However, Jesus permitted himself to be executed because that was the course that God had determined for Him in order that you and I have a perfect lamb die in our stead. Perfect will - life, permitted will - the cross.
God always knew that many men would rebel against Him. Yet, He did not remove their free will, and He will not. He will allow them to continue on this course and play their End Game until He gives Jesus the nod to go and claim His kingdom. Even Jesus does not know the exact day or hour. Only by letting this thing play out will Jesus wind up with a Kingdom comprised of people who are there only because they chose to be there. He is our King because we exercised our freedom of choice to choose Him. In the meantime, the Bible says that He permits the tares (weeds) to grow with the wheat, so as not to uproot any who are going to eventually be His. Yes! Even the representative who ousted Jesus from prayer in Pennsylvania still has an opportunity to repent.
Therefore, you are correct about the Great Tribulation being God's will, but it is not the same as saying it is something that He wants. It is merely something that He permits in order to have the whole issue settled once and for all as to who WANTS Him as Lord.
I wanted to address that issue because as you know, some do not understand the difference between permissive will and God's perfect will. Therefore, they do not resist Satan, thinking that Christians are to roll over and let evil prevail without opposition. That is not the case. We are to oppose our government ousting Jesus' name from prayer. Sure, the Tribulation Period is coming, but it does not have to be this decade. Here is the scripture for this circumstance, I believe: "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you!"
TAKE YOUR FOUL LAW AND RUN WITH IT, BECAUSE WE RESIST!

If the athiests and anyone else find the name or word GOD and JESUS so offensive why are they willing to spend our currency on frivilous things?
I truly believe that if they do not like it they should maybe try to find somewhere else to reside, after all what is stopping them from getting a passport and travelling to some foreign countries to see first hand what actually goes on there instead of listening to the (censored) media, and furthermore I would pay for Mcalls trip to do so,(but wait I think I,WE have already paid for that)!!!!!!!!

Can you please explain the notion of us being made in gods image it confuses me. God does nothing that we do, and we do nothing that God does.
Also if Jesus(pbuh) is God who did he pray to to be deliverd from the suffering of the cross, himself it would appear. Again i find this confusing.
One final question why direct your prayer to Jesus(pbuh) as if he is the son as you believe is it normal practice to direct questions to the son before the father.
at 02:34 on July 28th, 2009
Hello, Info.star. Thanks for your very worthwhile questions.
1) Made in God's image: God is spirit. We are spirit using a body to inhabit the physical plane.
a) We do nothing God does: I disagree. We love, and God loves. We use the materials he created to create many things ourselves.
2) Is Jesus God? My response is NO. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. You would have to ask someone who believes He is God to get an answer. I read the Bible, and I do not see where Jesus made that claim ever. He said, "He who has seen the Son has seen the Father." What He meant by that was that the things He did and the way He lived were reflective of God's perfect will. He even told us to be one, even as He and God were one. Jesus made many distinctions between Himself and God. Revelation says that even the Son does not know when the end of the world as we know it will happen, but only the Father knows. Therefore, God and Jesus are ONE in the same way that the Bible teaches that a husband and wife "become one flesh." Two distinct people can never become the same person, but a married couple should walk in unity. That is the same way that Jesus is one with the Father.
3) Jesus did not teach that we are to pray directly to Him. He told us to ask what we will IN HIS NAME and it will be done unto us. It is the same as a person who needs a job and has a friend whose father owns the company. If the owner's son says to you, "Go to our personnel department and tell them you need a job. Tell them I sent you," then you get hired without question. The Son has power. In Jesus' case, He rose with ALL power, and the Kingdom, and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Many people who study the Bible are influenced overmuch by doctrinal teachings that are actually not Biblical. For instance, try getting three days from Good Friday until Easter Sunday morning - you can't. So that is another falacy that could cause reasonable people to turn away. Actually, there are two types of sabbaths in the Bible The word "sabbath" regards the sixth day of the week, but the term also applies to any Jewish holiday. Therefore, when Jesus' friends were hurrying to get him entombed before the sabbath, it could not have been Saturday they meant, but some Jewish holiday that fell on Thursday that year. The Word is not wrong, but what we have been doctrinalized to believe about the Word frequently is. That is why I just put "Christian" on applications that ask. I don't let details like that prevent my enjoying a Good Friday celebration, because God is God every day. The only important principle is LOVE.
I encourage you or anyone to read for youself without any preconceptions regarding what the Word means. Try reading the King James version. When you do, ask the Holy Spirit to help your understanding. Here is a helpful Internet site, in case you prefer computers to books: http://www.biblegateway.com/
One problem people have is making what they read in the Bible jell with evolutionary theory. To my idea, creationism and evolution are not mutually exclusive. God invented evolution, and it is evident in the butterfly as well as the tadpole. So why would I be so sure He did not use the evolutionary process to perfect His creation? The "six days" mentioned in Genesis may represent six eons! We will never know everything while we are in this plane of existence, but it is OK to question. He invented our curiosity and invites us to "Come, let us reason together."
Much of Christianity requires faith, but most Biblical teaching is a matter of reason. God does not ask us to park our brains at the church door. It takes much more faith to believe "nothing from nowhere banged against nothing from nowhere and out popped a marvelous world filled with evidence of intelligent design" than it does to believe "In the beginning, God . . ." HOW He handled creation is still something of wonder, and scientists learn more every day about how HE did it. Maybe He banged! One thing that is certain is that Jesus was a co-inventor of the world. "Without Him was not anything made that was made." Consider also the verse, "Let US make man in Our image." Again, there is plurality.
Many people look at Christianity as being a religion that is at odds with science and mathematical principles, because the earth is so much older than a few thousand years. The false perception about Christianity being little more than a faith based on superstition is mostly caused by conflicting doctrinal teachings that one would have to lay aside common sense to embrace. Not all of us blindly believe anything and everything a preacher says, but many do what the Bible admonishes: "Study to show yourselves approved." Other people are discouraged when they observe the conduct of those who call themselves "Christians." But God invented science, and there is no need to chose between scientific reason and Christianity. Furthermore, every Christian that you ever meet is still "evolving" into the perfect image of God. We sin, we fall, we error, and some are merely pretending. You will know the pretenders only this way - Does the love of God reside in their spirits? If love is absent, they are not children of God. Do not look at people as being God's example - only Jesus was and is.
I hope that answered your questions. Please feel free to write again and to comment on more of my articles. Just click the dogs to reach my lineup at NowPublic.

The word God is not offensive despite the fact that Jesus prayed to Allah. The language spoken by Jesus was Aramaic and the Aramaic word for God is Allah.
I have posted several stories recently containing some interesting, often overlooked, Biblical verses, I hope you will read them.
at 07:57 on August 5th, 2009
Hello, Sputnic. The word "God" is not the outlawed term. The word "Jesus" is. I hope the distinction is clear. Jesus is and was the only begotten Son of the Living God.
People don't mind hearing references to "god," because the term can be applied to almost anything or anyone worshiped - money, statues, Allah, etc. But when one says "Jesus," then that eliminates all else.
There is an attempt underway to have people believe that God and Allah are one. I have much respect for all people, regardless of their religion, race, age, socioeconomic position, career choices and achievements. However, Allah and God are not the same.
If someone says to you, "I know Mary Neal." And you respond, "Do you mean the Mary Neal who lives in Georgia and has a mother named 'Hattie'?" And the person replies, "No. She has no mother named 'Hattie,'" then that person cannot be referring to me.
In the same respect, if someone says 'God,' and they do not mean the Creator of the world and all that is in it, who so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him might be saved," then they are speaking of another god, and not the God I serve. It is "Jesus" that distinguishes my God from other gods, and that is why references to the soon coming King are considered "offensive."
Allah has no son named "Jesus." Therefore when I speak of God, I do not refer to Allah.
As world citizens, we can come together on many things, and we should. Human rights is chief among them. However, the world will never come together on religious matters, and Jesus's name will never lose its power.
Blessings! Thanks for your comment.

Jesuss was not connected to thepagan demon Allah he was connected with Yahweh God of Israel. Allah does not mean God it is actially al Ilah (the god). He was a territorial god(actually a demon) of even Pre Islamic Arabia with daughter al Lat, al Uzzah and al Mannat. Little thanks to Mohammeds business trips for Khadija, he met Jews and Christians got some "stuff about their monotheism, prophets and contrasting ideology" and before the planet knew what was happening a demon had been promoted to Yahweh post of Creator of the universe in a new demonic religion called Islam with apparently good morals on the surface but hate , evil, magic and superstition and worst of all "Arabic supremacy" mentality. this has caused loss of brilliant and great cultured over lands that have been Jihadized unfortunately reaching up to the Northern boundary of my country Nigeria. A religion of no tolerance whose onlygoal is world domination and relies very much on poverty, illeteracy and ignorance and fear to keep its followers (oh sorry slaves) in its shackles.
