In the wake of “Skyfall” today surpassing “Avatar” to become the most successful film in British box office history, the 23rd installment in the James Bond marathon has stirred renewed interest in other Bond flicks, particularly what went on behind the scenes during filming of some of the more critically-acclaimed Bond movies.

English director John Glen's 2001 autobiography, titled “For My Eyes Only: My Life With James Bond,” has since become a collector's item, as Bond fans worldwide are scrambling to get their hands on his 208-page clover field of juicy tidbits he made public after becoming the only filmmaker who sat at the helm of the largest number of Bond movies in the franchise's 50-year history.
