...statue of John facing the Cavern Club in Mathew Street put here January 1997... Rock 'n Roll forever John... whenever I pass this statue I look and say to myself...you are young forever John, your music will never die...you are known and loved the whole world over, by people such as I... Would you believe that John has had his left eye poked out by some moran (not the real John, I mean his statue in Mathew Street, Liverpool). Recently one of the bricks was removed from the wall because it had the name Gary Glitter on it.

My story has had a lot of views so now a lot more people know about the vandalism of the statue of John Lennon.

This was a very interesting article, one I enjoyed very much. There are many facets to The Beatles, especially John aan Paul. If you go to http://thegoodguise.wordpress.com/ you will see that there is also a very profound aspect to their musical career as well. The Beatles - John and Paul specifically - were really meant to change the world. Feel free to comment and write to me with additional questions. Jacob
