John McCain Romantically Linked with Telecom Lobbyist
John McCain, is suddenly sputtering in his ambition to motor to the prize of the Republican presidential nominee, McCain was, tonight, romantically linked to a very attractive 40-year-old female political lobbyist and accused of granting HER clients, Telecom giants, political favours through committees that Senator McCain has chaired. Vicki Iseman, the lobbyist, also may have helped to write key telecom legislation. The most damaging allegations contained in the article centre on Mr McCain's reported conflicts of interests in the areas of political funding and lobbying.
McCain's campaign tonight issued a statement:
"It is a shame that the New York Times has lowered its standards to engage in a hit and run smear campaign," communications director Jill Hazelbaker said, in a ready-to-go statement sent only an hour after the Times put their story online. "John McCain has a 24-year record of serving our country with honor and integrity. He has never violated the public trust (cough), never done favors for special interests (cough cough) or lobbyists, and he will not allow a smear campaign to distract from the issues at stake in this election (cough hack hack cough giggle).
My only comment to this is...KEATING FIVE!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to the GOP's raw deal. The Main Stream Media is just waiting to hammer this guy and figuatively beat him to a pulp in the press until November. The premature burial of the POW issue, 34 alleged propaganda tapes, divorcing his newly paralyzed wife to marry the Navy nurse, all sorts of things will come out before November. Forget November, who knows if he'll make it to September in Minnesota. This guy might as well be a cardboard stooge to throw tomatoes at for the Main Stream Media. It's gonna get ugly.
If you think about it, Reagan, Goldwater, and Ron Paul have really been aberrations for the GOP. Most of the time, we wind-up with stooges like this.
Here's a preview of a 60 second McCain ad for the general election:
"Hi, I'm Juan McCain
I co- sponsored the greatest destruction of the First Amendment in modern times with Mccain/Fiengold.
I've voted for over 50 tax increases.
I support the AL Gore bill on global warming that proposes massive gas tax hikes.
The jobs aren't comming back.
The government is not getting smaller.
The illegals aren't going home . ..
and we'll be in Iraq and other new wars for the next 100 years.
Washington experience for the future ...
Juan McCain ... olay!"
Just keep in mind, my sweeties, it won't be this or any alleged affair that does McCain in, it will be the exposure of his anger, abuse, and threats of retaliation. This is why the GOP was trying to pushand shove him through so fast. That and the fact that the current administration needed a successor that would be willing to give pardons to the current war criminals.
Thank you for reading.

This story is getting huge attention. Sorry I brushed it off before, everyone is jumping on it. Thanks for posting this.
You really should put the Opinion tag and headline on this story though.

I was thinking of that, but figured it was a BIG story to get buried in the opinion area.
You know Ryan, if you liked it you could give me a big check mark. I would really like that.....

Heck Sapphira, I'll give you a checkmark. McCain is bad news (maybe not as bad as some other candidates from another party) but bad news nonetheless. I do, however, find it kind of funny that the media's darling in the republican party (basically because he is death for the conservative movement) gets hammered right after he all but wins the nomination. Oh well, we knew this was going to happen.

Mountaineer, I like this opinion piece. It's good stuff.
McCain is easy pickings for so many things. A win for Obama (predicted winner for Dems) should be as easy as taking candy away from a baby.

McCain is a complete criminal liar.
He has a history of lying to the American people.
McCain says he is for tax cuts, but he voted against the Bush Tax Cut.
McCain lied. He is a liar.
McCain says he does not support illegal immigrants, but voted in favor of legislations that support amnesty plans.
McCain lied. He is a liar.
McCain flip flops within a 47 second time. The fastest and world-record holder.
He earned the gold medal for lying within a 47 second time.
He is the fastest liar. http://thinkprogress.org/2007/02/04/mccain-fl...
McCain says,“He Has ‘Never Asked For A Single Earmark Or Pork Barrel Project’ For His State.”
McCain lied about that also.

McCain lied about his infidelity that occurred in 1979.
He was still married and sleeping with another woman.
McCain lied about that also.

Mccain is lying about his infidelity with Vicki Iseman that occurred in 2000 while his wife was on vacation out of the country.
McCain is lying about that also.
Do you want a President who is an aggressive and traditional liar?
McCain can not be trusted with foreign affairs.
He will lie.
McCain can not be trusted with the national economy.
He will lie.
We must not put a liar in the White House.
We must not let a liar become the President of the United States.
I have no alternative but to support Obama.
I am a conservative Republican, but I did not vote for McCain.
McCain is not the ideal conservative Republican candidate.
There is no conservative Republican candidate. Therefore, I am voting for Obama, which is a better choice than McCain.
