John Travolta talking about his kids by Ophray: Ella Bleu & Jett

What a tragedy: Jett Travolta, the 16 year-old son of actor John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston, has died in the Bahamas.

There are conflicting reports as to the cause of his death.

Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of John Travolta and Kelly Preston, died Friday, according to press reports.

Travolta's attorney, Michael Ossi, confirmed the death to TMZ.com. According to the web site, "Jett suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful and he died on scene."

Other police reports have indicated that Jett Travolta died from allegedly hitting his head after falling in a bathtub.

Police officials in the Bahamas say John Travolta's son did not die from a seizure but after hitting his head in a bathtub this morning.

More on this story as it emerges.

John Travolta's son Jett Travolta died in the Bahamas, reportedly from hitting his head:

Rand Memorial Hospital in the Bahamas tells TMZ the son of John Travolta died today.

We're told 16-year-old Jett was vacationing with Travolta and wife Kelly Preston. We do not know the circumstances of his death.

There have been reports that Jett was autistic, though Travolta has denied it, saying he suffers from Kawasaki Syndrome, a condition which often leads to heart disease.

Access Hollywood reports he hit his head on the bathtub in a fall:

The actor and his family were on vacation at the Old Bahama Bay hotel on the Grand Bahama island, when Jett fell and hit his head on the bathtub, a source told Access on Friday at 10 AM PST.

Following the accident, Jett Travolta was taken to Rand Memorial Hospital in the Bahamas...

When contacted by Access Hollywood, an employee at the Old Bahama Bay hotel, where Travolta owns several beachfront units, said she was "not allowed to talk about [the incident]."

Despite living in Brazil and have never had contact with the Family Travolta, I feel a deep regret at the circumstances.
Since I was a teenager already appreciated the films of John Travolta, and that happens to the current days.
It is as if a close relative had my deceased.
My condolences to the Family Travolta. And God, in His eternal wisdom, to nurture the hearts of them.

So what if Jett was Autistic as is claimed!  The fact that his parents can treat him as a "normal" child is far more loving and important than what the media are trying to exploit.  It is very sad for anyone and everyone concerned.  NO parent is supposed to bury their child.

My heartfelt condolences to all parents and families who have lost a loved one this Xmas.
