A bit of advice for all you waiters out there: if Johnny Depp asks for extra breadsticks, you give him extra breadsticks. ASAP. If his recent visit to a Chicago restaurant is any indication, you'll be amply rewarded.

According to reports, Johnny Depp tipped a waiter $4,000 after a meal at Chicago's Gisbsons Steakhouse with his Public Enemies co-star Marion Cotillard and director Michael Mann.

Depp, Cotillard, and Mann were in town for the premiere of Public Enemies, which tells the story of infamous Chicago gangster John Dillinger. After the premiere, the trio ate a late meal at the legendary Gibsons Steakhouse.

Once they finished their meal at around 2:30 am, Depp covered the $4,400 bill and added a $4,000 tip to thank server Mohammaed A. Sekhani for staying late.

“Because he had visited us before he calls me ‘Mo’ and I know exactly the way he likes to be treated.  He may be one of the most famous actors in the world but he is a very ‘humble guy’ and a really cool dude.   Obviously, I was delighted with his tip but he has always been very generous every time that he has visited us here at Gibsons.”
