This week on a very special episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8, the couple will address all their divorce rumors. At least that's what we're being led to believe as the show has said that there will be a big Jon and Kate announcement June 22.
So what is the Jon and Kate big announcement? Who knows, but a promo for the show states the couple will announce a "life-changing decision" during a hour-long episode that airs Monday.
The promo is no doubt an effort to boost the show's ratings, which have dipped considerably since the show's record-setting season premiere last month. Since the premiere, however, the show has largely dodged all the Jon and Kate rumors that have become grist for the tabloid mill.
Considering the hype surrounding the Jon and Kate announcement, it would be hard to believe that the couple would do anything but directly address their marital strife. Any kind of bait-and-switch would no doubt drive away viewers who are looking for Jon and Kate to address their marital issues head-on.

I really hope they stay together and really work on their marriage. The show and the public should take a back burner and they should not be concerned about anything anyone else thinks. The lights and fame have taken them places they should never have gone. It was exciting and new, but if they want to really think about their children, they should move out of the spotlight, go for serious counseling and concentrate on each other.

I did Jon and Kate a favor over a month ago, I stopped watching the show.
If everyone would have done this several months back at the signs of trouble, then maybe the would have gotten the hint that the show is what tested the marriage. The show is what brought in the Papparazzi, the show is where they exploit their children. The show is what gave them a taste of fame that they now can not do without. What a sad, sad situation this is, especially for those beautiful children.
