Jon and Kate File Divorce Papers

I had been wondering if Jon had really cheated on Kate.  I am watching him last night sitting in the interview chair, dressed like a 13 yr old and I wanted to puke.  Thats not the image a man portrays that is serious about his marriage or family.  Yes, Kate is harsh, BUT look where it had taken them.  She saved, the kids were well taken care of, she had goals for family.  Where would they be if Jon had been the brain behind the money? 

I had rather hoped they would be able to work things out.  Jon doesn't seem to want anything to do with Kate.  That is a definite sign that he is at fault.  I'm sure the grass is greener for him on the other side with his 23 yr old girlfriend.  Lets just hope he's not stupid enough to introduce her or any other woman to his kids and completely wreck their lives.

Divorce is difficult no matter what the situation-public or not.  Eventually Kate will move on and so will Jon and there's no doubt that this will mean new significant others.   They have to do what's best for their kids- this is true...  but they can't raise healthy happy kids in an unhealthy relationship.   If they honestly feel it's best for their family to split, then we should respect that.  Let's not let the fact that they have 8  kids get in the way of our views.  Would it not be equally as sad if they only had one child? The general public doesn't care about divorce in ordinary circumstances- having 2.5 children, seeing as how half of all marriages end in divorce, I'd say it's widely accepted.  So... just accept their divorce, 8 kids or not and move on with your lives.
