Will Jon Plus 8 Minus Kate be the title of the new TLC show starring Jon and Kate Gosselin? If rumors of a pending divorce, his-and-hers affairs, and a sex tape are true, TLC will have to scramble to pick up the pieces of its popular reality show Jon and Kate Plus 8.
New Jon and Kate Gosselin Marriage shockers recently hit the headlines: the first being a rumored confirmation of an impending divorce and also a sex tape featuring Jon's alleged mistress, Deanna Hummel.
The latest news of the veritable quagmire that is the marriage comes by way of a recent interview with Kate Gosselin's brother, Kevin Kreider, and sister-in-law Jodi. In the interview the couple confirms what the media has been reporting saying, "Six months ago Kate came to Jon and said, 'Hey, it's over.'"
Kevin's wife Jodi says everyone ignored the problems in the marriage to keep the show's ratings high. She says: "The show is not reality, and has not been for a long time. This is a train wreck."
Kevin adds: "Their family is in shambles."
Jodi and Kevin gave their only print interview to Star magazine, and in a cover story this week, they say the marriage is now governed by a secret contract. They reveal details of that contract in Star's interview.
Kevin says both Jon and Kate need to give up the fame and fortune in order to save their marriage while Jodi says a divorce would affect the children terribly.
In the Star magazine interview, she explains how she believes Kate is exploiting the kids and how badly it's affecting them.
Kreider says his sister Kate wants to be a talk show host, and she really is starting to believe her own press."
Furthermore, in the interview the couple confirmed that Jon was suspicious of Kate and her relationship with bodyguard, Steve Neild.
To add to the controversy, Jon's alleged mistress, Deanna Hummel, was recently indicted by her own brother, Jason. In a recent statement Jason alluded that his sister and the Gosselin patriarch are indeed an item.
Jason says the two would “pretty much stay locked away like two teenagers. It was weird. He’s a grown man,” adding, “A lot of the time, it was pretty, um, gross listening to her, you know, um — how do I say this? The walls are thin. Let’s just say that. I mean, no one wants to hear his sister having sex, let alone with a married dude who’s, like, almost twice her age and who has eight kids and a maybe-crazy wife. Ick. Nast.”
On April 26, just seven days after photos were released showing Jon and Deanna together at a bar at 2 a.m., the two were photographed sunbathing in his family’s front lawn while his wife Kate was out of town.
Jason says he is coming forward to try to help his naive sister. “She’s a nice girl, not a homewrecker,” Jason tells US Weekly. “He is a bad liar. This isn’t healthy for her. But she is refusing to help herself, so here I am trying to help her myself. I hope this clears the air.”
Allegations of a sex tape featuring Deanna Hummel have also come to light thanks to an ex-boyfriend.
Yes, the Jon and Kate saga has gone the only logical place that was left to go, as Deanna Hummell's ex-boyfriend has contacted a series of celebrity gossip websites claiming he has video footage of his former flame 'in flagrante delicto'.
A series of still shots have been put forward as proof of the claim, which the owner says were taken with Hummell's full knowledge.
"When I read the news about her alleged affair with Jon Gosselin from the show Jon & Kate Plus 8, I have to say I wasn't surprised," says the mystery e-mailer. "The Deanna I knew wasn't above cheating, even with married men, hence our eventual breakup."
With the new season of the TLC hit show premiering in the coming weeks all of this controversy is expected to boost ratings.

Kate Gosselin a mother of eight children, one twin and sextuplets. She and her husband Jon documented their struggle with their 8 children, since then, they have been getting a lot of press. The Eight Little Faces, was the new book released, detailing her experiences to her eight children. Kate has been making appearances plugging it, such as a recent appearance on the Today Show. Because of the TV show, they may not hurt for a no fax payday loan, but the family struggled prior to the TV show. Let us hope that they never need debt relief, and that Kate Gosselin can get a break.

I think it terrible the way Kate was always yelling at John on tv belittling him all the time i felt really embaraseed for john many times. Kate has let fame get in the way all of a sudden shes got book deals magazine deals etc. I feel bad for the kids they are the ones who will suffer at the hands of there parents. Shame on both of them for what they are doing to there children family and themselves

I think Jon should cut his losses and get the HELL out of there! I live in the same town as Jon and Kate and one of my relative is actually married to a close relative of Jon's so I've had the inside scoop for awhile. I go to the tanning salon where Kate goes and I was there once when she had to wait for a booth to become available. She went into TOTAL BITCH mode and started ranting and raving about how SHE shouldn't EVER have to wait. I wanted to ask her just who she thought she was but I decided she wasn't worth the breath I would waste attempting to communicate with her.
The kids are very lucky to have Jon as a father because he is the ONLY parent who has EVER been involved in their lives when the cameras aren't rolling.
Kate no longer speaks to Kevin and Jodi all because they told the truth. Deanna Hummel's brother is an idiot who isn't worth listening too-but he DID get paid $5,000 for that pathetic tv interview in which he showed his true uneducated self-oh excuse me that's right-he's studying psychology! NOT!
This is a very sad situation for the kids and Jon. Kate has let the fame and fortune go to her head and now she wants to be a talk show host like Kelly Ripa-good luck with that-she has more class in her little finger that Kate could ever hope to have. You can take the girl out of the trailer park but you CANNOT take the trailer park out of the girl!

First off, shame on both for exploiting their kids. Second, Kate is very mean to Jon and in a way that pushes him away. Naturally he will look for someone who will care about him and treat him with kindness and respect. As a person, I think he atleast deserves that and no one deserves to be controlled or belittled the way Jon is, especially on TV for everyone to see! If they even have the slightest chance of fixing their marriage, it will have to be with camaras off and with a lot of help from a therapist or marraige counselor. What Jon is doing is horrible, there is no excuse for it and the children will suffer most from it, but it isn't just his fault, Kate pushed him to it. By trying to control everything, not working together or communicating properly as a wife should with her husband, she pushed him away and towards another woman.
And sadly, if divorce is the only way ( I hate to see Jon put up with Kate any longer), they need to do it in a way that is best for the children. They need to put their differences behind them and for once, think solely in their children. No child likes to go through their parents divorcing, please don't make them go through it on TV for everyone to watch.

I wonder how many of their kids will end up being gay because of this whole thing? If the show ends, I hope at least the paparazzi mercilessly pursue these kids until they have their first dates, etc, so we can see who is acting out like a fruitcake to get mommy's and daddy's attention. I'm guessing it's going to be Joel, because he doesn't get a lot of attention right now. They may as well shack him up in the girls room from now on and just get used to it.

While I agree with many viewers that Kate/Jon both need to step back from the show and do what is best for the children. These events will have long term effects on the children. But the comments from drunkdude69 show how judgemental people can be. FIRST, being gay has NOTHING to do with your up bringing. Just as being STRAIGHT has nothing to do with your up bringing. Second, we all should reserve comments like these. They serve no purpose but to cause another person pain. Remind, both Jon/Kate that they need to put the children first. If this means working on the marriage issues...GREAT. If it means divorce and they co-parent in a positive way, placing the children first. FINE ALSO. But to make hurtful comments serves to positive purpose.

That's kinda messed up, drunkdude69.. They are just little kids. Say what you will about the parents, they are adults, but it would be cool you keep the little guys out of it. I'm not trying to attack you or anything, I just feel bad for the kids. The paparazzi would have never had anything negative to say if the dad never went out with that young chick and the kids' aunt and uncle had not said those terrible things about the parents. Surprisingly enough, I don't feel the paparazzi is completely responsible for the hatred flying around. The just found a story and ran with it. This whole thing is a hot mess. I feel bad that the kids are caught up in the middle :( Besides, Joel is mad cute...

wow so are the rumprs true they are getting a divorce and if they do it would ruin the show right it would be canceled cus it wouldnt be the same wothout kate or jon together and i love that show i have fallen in love woth the kids and i think it would be hard on he kids if they got a divorce

come on guys put your self in their shoes you have 8 kids, moneys so tight, you get a great offer to do a show, it changes your and the kids lives, gives them opportunities they couldn't have without a show. but it puts so much pressure on everyone, being watched 24/7, not being able to clean your house without being filmed, when your kids are sick and screaming and people want to get up close to capture the shot what do you choose? a life of inconvience but opportunity or one where moneys tight and friends are hard to come by? every relation ship is hard, add 8 kids and a film crew to that and it gets a lot harder.
i say let them sort out what problems they have, who are we to make it worse by believeing rumour and scandle? i'd like to meet one mother who at one point hasn't spoke to her partner that way in frustration or one parent who has to choose between whats best for the family or whats easier for the family. i can't believe all those who really say horrible things in defence of the kids, parents get divorced all the time and all these rumours aren't whats best for the kids neither is people calling kateor jon horrible names .
they may have chosen to put their incredible life on screen but that doesn't give people the right to destroy their whole family for the sake of gossip!

i couldn't agree more as a mother of 3 kids it's hard enough, anyone who says so otherwise is lying, i love my kids dearly but some times i have no patience and get snappy.
if the stories are true then i wish them both the best but i hate the way people are commenting on this like they are horrible evil people, this is life it happens all the time and it's not fair to judge people on hear say and rumour!
these are two people who above all love their kids, and i doubt they would put ratings ahead of their kids, but hey guess what? sometimes whats best for the kids is to have two happy loving supportive parents who mightn't be together but are better people for it.
there's no point having a mom or dad who doesn't give to themselves first, because if they don't what do they give to the kids?

I really agree that Kate has been belittleling Jon on the show but you still have to realize we don't know if Jon belittles Kate as much or more the Kate belittles him. As Jodi and Kevin said in interviews, it was hard for them to get 15 minutes out of 8 hours of filming. We do not see everything that goes on in that house, so to say Kate belittles Jon too much cannot be proven. I agree that Kate mighgt be pushing Jon away without us being aware. But seriously. I am a woman and I would not want to have sex with a man with eight kids. If Jon and Kate get a divorve it will tear their kids apart. They need to let it go and worry about the damn kids.

Whatever, woman. You did this to your life. You had a choice as far as the TV show. Now it is time to pay the piper. "I realize I need to suck it up for the kids..." How selfish a comment is that? Suck it up?!? Take those babies and move far far away from any camera and let those children have a shot at a decent life. All I see is a mother and a father using their children for fame and a few bucks. I'm sure the college fund is full... move on and let the children become unknowns. Let them have lives that are as close to "average" as possible. Just what exactly are you teaching those babies?

I have to admit I haven't watched your show much,,but I did watch the season premier. I truly believe you guys cannot work this out in front of the cameras. You really should cancel the show and seek marriage counseling for yourselves and for the sake of your children. You are going thru things that almost every couple in this country go thru and you shouldn't have to be publicly scrutinized for every move you make.
