Joyce DeWitt DUI: Janet From Three's Company Arrested

Joyce DeWitt, the actress best known for playing Janet in the hit ABC sitcom Three's Company , was arrested in El Segundo, California on suspicion of DUI.
The 60-year-old actress was stopped by police Saturday afternoon after driving around a barricade set up for a Fourth of July fireworks show.
Witnesses said DeWitt pulled up in a black sports car, parked, and staggered toward a police officer standing in uniform next to his motorcycle.
She slurred, "Where the hell is East Oak Street?" a witness said.
An officer asked how much she had to drink and she said, "Just one." She then reached into her car, pulled out a plastic container and began drinking from it.
It was unclear what was inside.
DeWitt later failed a field sobriety test and was taken to an El Segundo jail.
DeWitt played Janet Wood on the hit sitcom Three's Company, alongside John Ritter and Suzanne Somers.
