Every year Time magazine declares those famous figures they've determined to have the most influence on the world. And this time around, Justin Bieber and Blake Lively made the cut.

Given his massive success with music as well as film, the "Baby" singer was likely a shoo-in for the honor.

Bieber's mentor Usher told Time, "From the minute I met Justin, I knew this kid possessed a certain confidence that only a star could have. He was born a star. He knew what he wanted to accomplish; all he had to do was get everyone else to believe it. Now, looking back at his incredible run, the reality of who he is and what he's accomplished far exceeds anybody's expectations of him."

Meanwhile, Ms. Lively has parlayed her success on "Gossip Girl" into several major film roles, and she shows no signs of slowing down.

After the success of 2010's "The Town", Blake is next taking to the big screen with a role in the upcoming comic book-based "Green Lantern". Ryan Reynolds also stars in the sci-fi superhero flick, which, according to IMDB, involves "a test pilot who is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers."

Blake Lively spoke with MTV News earlier this month while promoting her new movie at CinemaCon.

"For me, I was like a kid when I found out I got this [role]. I was like, 'What kind of stunts am I going to do?' I was thrilled to be a part of it. I've always loved these kinds of movies. I do think, I know everybody says this, but I do think it's different."

Other notable mentions on Time's 100 Most Influential list include Chris Colfer, Amy Poehler, Bruno Mars, and of course Oprah Winfrey.
