Kandi Burruss from the Real Housewives of Atlanta speaks out about the death of her ex-fiance Ashely 'AJ' Jewell last Friday night outside The Body Tab Club in Atlanta.
On her blog, hellobeautiful.com, Kandi says she felt that AJ is gone too soon:
"I hate to question God, but don't you hate it when you feel like somebody has been taken away too soon?," the Grammy-winning singer wrote on her blog hellobeautiful.com. "I just feel like A.J. had so much more living to do."
AJ Jewell often appeared on the Real Housewives show, but sustained head injuries in a fight with Frederick Richardson, who has been arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter.
Jewell's relationship with Burruss was featured heavily on the show as Burruss was often in fights with her mother over their relationship as Kandi's mother thought Jewell had had too many women and had already fathered six children with a number of women.
In August, Burruss and Jewell called off their wedding.
Of Jewell, Burruss blogged, "When I spoke to him yesterday (Saturday) I never thought that it would be for the last TIME! A.J. had a great spirit and he was a good man."
