Mumbai: Bollywood reports say that Karan Johar had a hectic time in preventing heroine Priyanka Chopra from visiting a Red Light area to act as a prostitute in his film.

            Karan is producing a film titled ‘Agnipath; (Path of Fire) with Hritik Roshan as  the hero. Beautiful beroine Priyanka Chopra is acting as a prostitute in the film. She wanted to visit the notorious Red Light area in the city to have a feel of the place and study the sex workers there for the portrayal of the character.

            When she told Karan her intentions, Karan was baffled. He told her that he had already studied the areas and the scenario and there was no need for her to go there. He told her it would be enough if she acted as he wanted her to act. However, reports say that Priyanka has insisted on going to the Red Light area. Karan had a tough time in telling her how dangerous it would be to visit   those areas. He is believed to have told her that there would be life threat for her. Finally she has given up the idea.
