Kate Gosselin appeared on Larry King Live on August 25, 2009 to talk with the aging host about her life after Jon, the kids, and her future. Gosselin maintained composure and gave little details about her relationship with Jon but did say that J&K had a "peaceful custody" arrangement and that their separation was a "good experience." In the interview she also fessed up to what everyone already knew saying, "my nature is to freak out, to be in control.”

While the interview was far less dramatic than it could've been the Gosselin matriarch did spill some details about what's next for the show and furthermore her plans for the future.

She said that TLC “has the editing rights” to the show and so she has no control over what’s shown on Jon & Kate.

Tantalizingly, in response to a question about her future, she said, “I have big dreams… I am very driven.” What could this mean? Does Kate want to host her own TLC talk show, giving advice to other parents? Does she want to replace Paula on American Idol?

Alas, Larry did not follow up. He just asked her about her past, pre-motherhood life, when she was a nurse. At one point, the CNN screen carried the banner, “Exclusive: Kate: the kids understand what’s going on, doing well.”

What do you think? Can Kate make it without Jon? What does the future have in store for Kate and the kids?
