What better way to ring in the New Year after a year of divorce, fighting and way too much media attention than by changing your hair? That's exactly what Kate Gosselin decided to do and so she got herself some hair extensions and she now has long hair. See a photo of Kate Gosselin with her new hair extensions.

Kate Gosselin's hair extensions took 20 hours to complete and for most it seems to be a bit of a shock, considering all the attention Kate's hair has gotten in the past for being that short spiky in the back / long in the front style.
However, Kate seems really happy with her new long hair extensions.
"I'm starting over. It's good to have hair again. I never thought I'd have short hair for as long as I did. I feel like this is a fresh start, a fresh me, a fresh life. I'm rebuilding. There's no option for this not to be a good year. Now I get to start over with a new self and new goals."
Hailey Glassman, Jon's ex girlfriend told Entertainment Tonight what she thought about Kate's new hair:
"I like it! It's a little shocking due to how short it was before. I think a new look is a new start and happier times. She's like fine wine. Better over time. Did I mention how great her body looks? I wonder who her surgeon is?... Jon always gave her sh** about having short hair. Props to Kate. She can now be a MILF!"
Kate has not commented about that reaction.

Kate's hair is cute and it makes her look much younger. The media's negativity is all about using Kate and Jon for controversy which, of course, gets them their much sought-after attention. ATTENTION...it increases Viewership! Did they ever stop to think that Kate has got to be going through an aweful lot with raising all these children and her ex dogging around and making a complete fool of himself? Can the media possibly show some SENSITIVITY? Hey, Jaycee Dugard got it or did the Judge have to order the media to stay away? Is that what it takes for the media to show any Sensitivity...I can guarantee you that Kate has suffered much emotional abuse from this ordeal. The new hair looks great on Kate! Shows confidence and that she's maintaining hope for herself, children and future. Good for her! She needs to keep going and IGNORE THE INSENSITIVE, ATTENTION-SEEKING MEDIA! The Media has issues and is not thinking, not Kate...she's definitely A THINKING WOMAN!
