Comedian Katt Williams was arrested fro burglary and criminal trespass charges on Sunday. Katt Williams' mug shot has been released, showing him with a big smile. His first court appearance will be 4 pm ET on Monday.

Katt Williams, 38, was held at the Coweta County Jail, Georgia. James Yarbrough from Coweta County Sheriff's Office said a homeowner from Newnan, near Atlanta, called police around 9 pm and reported the break-in. No further detail was released except that jewelry was taken.

Williams was admitted to a psych ward last November. Prior to that, he was arrested on gun charges in New York.

The comedian has exhibited unusually erratic behavior in the past year, beginning with a string of puzzling public appearances, before Williams was admitted to a psych ward in South Carolina last November.

Prior to his hospitalization, Williams was arrested on gun charges in New York and then performed at Carnegie Hall hours later. He also missed scheduled hosting duties at the 2008 BET Hip-Hop Awards and an appearance on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien."

Hey now, hold up on the judgment calls here! You can have anyone arrested for just about anything but it doesn't mean he's guilty. Plenty of people are found not guilty every day but it never makes the headlines because it's not as sexy & exciting. Let the court system do their job & stop jumping to conclusions!
