Katy Perry Almost Bares All in the August Issue of Esquire UK

Katy Perry is turning 25 soon, she's engaged to British celebrity Russell Brand and her new song California Gurls is climbing up the charts and is set to be the hit song of the summer.

Now she has donned some black high heels and high waisted daisy duke shorts and posed almost topless for the upcoming issue of Esquire UK. In these preview photos of the shoot Perry is seen staring directly in to the camera with both hands covering her breasts, but still with a decidedly more grown-up look. Perry has said that she wanted to be a little more grown-up as she is turning 25 this year.

She also spoke to the magazine about her quirky sense of style:

"It's Lucille Ball meets Bob Mackie. It's about innuendo," she said of her sense of style. "I want everybody to get the joke, but I want them to think about it for a minute.

She also gives credit to her stylist for her ever-changing look, whose 'dreams are just retarded as I dream'.

Perry and Russell Brand are engaged, but there have been rumors in the media recently that the duo are already married due to the fact that Perry has said she is married already, and Brand has called Perry his wife. However, there has been no confirmation that they are already married at this time.
