Ke$ha Attacks Britney Spears for Lip Syncing, Says Singers Should Sing

Ke$ha says she didn't mean any offense to Spears, and wasn't attacking her personally, but it sounds like the "Tik-Tok" singer isn't every impressed with her Pop music elder.

It seems Ke$ha doesn't appear to think too highly of pop predecessor Britney Spears and isn't afraid to gab about it.

Even though she's been featured on one of Brit's songs, the 23-year-old "TiK ToK" singer is vehemently against her lip-syncing.

Lip-Syncing a No-No for Ke$ha

Ke$ha says that even if her singing isn't up to par on certain nights, that doesn't mean she'll ever lip-sync. She says fans deserve to hear the artists sing, even if that means a drop in quality or dance moves. She says she has been asked to lip-sync before but refused.

"It's treating people as if they are too stupid to realize you are not actually singing," her rant continues. "Sometimes it is hard to sing and dance at the same time, but I would rather be off and be real and genuine about it to my fans. I don't want to treat my fans like they are stupid...When I am singing, I may sound s--t sometimes, but at least you'll know I'm singing."

So far Britney hasn't responded, but it's probably only a matter of time since she was the only person Ke$ha targeted in her rant. Will Britney respond, or just shrug off the comments from the young upstart?

Britney is still a pop princess! We'll never stop loving her. I'm excited for the new biography, "Britney Spears: Little Girl Lost" (check it out on amazon). When Ke$ha (I can't really respect someone who spells their name with a dollar sign) is successful enough for her own biography, I'll take her more seriously.
