KFC BBL 2012-13 Perth Scorchers vs Melbourne Stars Live Streaming

THE Melbourne Stars have won the toss and will bowl in their Big Bash League match against the Perth Scorchers at the WACA Ground.

With rain forecast in Perth tonight, Stars captain Shane Warne has taken the punt that bowling second might pay off if the Duckworth-Lewis system is brought into effect in a shortened match.

"At least you know what the situation is," Warne said.

Both teams have made changes to the line-ups that lost in the opening BBL round last weekend, with the Stars welcoming back all-rounder Glenn Maxwell from representative action for Matthew Wade who has left on Test duty.

The Scorchers brought in Marcus North for the injured Shaun Marsh (hamstring), while all-rounders Hilton Cartwright and Marcus Stoinis will make their BBL debut at the WACA Ground.

Last year's runners-up dropped Ben Edmondson and also lost Michael Hussey to the Australian team.

Stars: Warne, Faulkner, Handscomb, Hodge, Hussey, McKay, Malinga, Maxwell, Quiney, White and Wright (Henry 12th).

Scorchers: Gibbs, North, Katich, Voges, Stoinis, Triffitt, Coulter-Nile, Cartwright, Mennie, Hogg and Beer (Behrendorff 12th).
