I'd like to see one of those Conan O'Brian bits where they photoshop
together terrible adult photos of two celebrities to imagine what their
deranged offspring might look like. Then again, I'm sure the Kidman-Urban offspring will be celebrity-calibre cute, so that probably wouldn't be as funny as I'd like to think it would be.

Actress Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are expecting their first child together, the country singer announced Monday on his website.

Kidman, an Oscar winner and star of The Golden Compass, her latest movie release, married Urban in June 2006.

Oscar-winning Australian actress Nicole Kidman is pregnant and has pulled out of shooting her next film "The Reader" with her baby expected around mid-2008.

In early 2008 Kidman was due to start filming the post-Second World War drama “The Reader,” directed by Stephen Daldry who made “The Hours” which won Kidman her 2003 best actress Oscar.

She has withdrawn from “The Reader” due to her pregnancy.
