Kim Kardashian Sues Old Navy Over Lookalike in Ads

Kim Kardashian sued Old Navy on Wednesday claiming that they have violated her publicity rights by using a model that looks just like her to dupe the public into thinking that she's affiliated with Old Navy.
The ad featuring the Kardashian lookalike has been viewed over two million times on YouTube. The lawsuit states that a commerical titled "Super C-U-T-E" was aired by Old Navy last February and is still being aired.

The lawsuit also notes the concern that consumers may be confused by the ad and her actual endorsements, including her clothing and shoe line. The lawsuit states that Kardashian:

has invested substantial time, energy, finances and entrepreneurial effort in developing her considerable professional and commercial achievements and success, as well as in developing her popularity, fame, and prominence in the public eye.

Even more disturbing is that the lookalike singer/model Melissa Molinaro, who is currently dating Kim’s ex Reggie Bush.

Kim is reportedly suing for $15 to $20 million. Old Navy has yet to comment.
