Kirk Hammett Kicks Child During Sydney Metallica Concert 

While Metallica was performing at Sydney's Acer Arena, guitarist Kirk Hammett accidently kicked a small child off the stage. The child was obscured by one of the dozens of giant black balloons that were crowding the stage.

Kirk Hammett was kicking the balloons out of the way and did not see the child, who accidentally got kicked as well. The incident, which was clearly unintentional, was captured on video and posted to LiveLeak.

No word on whose child that was, or what balloons were doing onstage during a Metallica show.

The song was "Search and Destroy".
