Kris Allen Wins American Idol 2009, Adam Lambert Loses

Why is it so hard to accept that out of 100 million who voted, most of them went for Kris?  Because the judges have been shoving down our throats that Adam will win, even the finale was staged for Adam.  But the close to a million voters were listening with their ears, heart and soul. 

Have you read about the comments of Jamie Foxx, Quentin Tarantino, Melinda Doolittle, Chris Daughtry, David Archuleta, and even Ellen about Kris Allen and how amazing he is?  I guess not because you'd rather think that Kris got Christian or tween votes.

I'm a 40-year-old mom, and my mom who's 65 and my daughter who is 10 love how Kris renders his songs.  He always sings it with his heart and soul (not just tonsils).  And he is so humble.  Up to the last minute, he showed how unassuming he is, mentioning that Adam deserved the title.  Oh Kris, when will you realize that you are such a wonderful artist?  I hope never but still keep on singing and making his own songs.

Will Kris Allen sell records? Of course he will.  Close to 100 million Americans voted, even if only 1/3 of them buy his album he will still be selling A LOT!  I'm sure Adam will too, and Gokey because they are both amazing talents.

Kris Allen is the winner, not just in American Idol but in the hearts of millions of people, including us and we're not even Christians.

Yeah, but the thing is, one person can vote as much as time permits.  I used to do this for Lukas Rossi - when he was on Rock Star Supernova. 

Apparently, THIRTY-EIGHT MILLION votes came from ARKANSAS last night.

i myself am not a fan of kris.
but his humility onstage,

Recording breaking votes... almost 100 million votes, that is three times the size of Canada....

Or 1/3 of the USA.

Ya know I think this is a crock.  I mean come on now... How many times did Kris have a standing ovation?  NONE.  How many times did Adam?  TWICE!! But ya know what?  It doesn't matter anymore ya know why?  Cause now Adam has no boundaries like Kris does with being THE American Idol.  The show is rigged anyways so who cares right? lol  And the thing is all 10 contestants will make something of themselves either way.

these reality dance shows are a big hit in India as well with youth following them like crazy.

I can't believe what just happened at the American Idol. There is no doubt that Adam Lambert has been great throughout the season. America made the mistake twice. First they sent Danny home and now chose the wrong American Idol. Adam Lambert is one of the greatest American Idols ever and for most of us he is the winner.

Everyone needs to quit knocking Kris.  You do not know Kris.  Adam is a fantastic singer and I guarentee you he already has his recording contract, but give Kris a break.  Kris can sing, just like Adam.  You all are mad cause the person you wanted to win, did not win.  The votes were not rigged, just in Arkansas alone, he recieved 38 million votes.  If the shoe were on the other foot, you would not be doing this. 

Bern, 100 million Americans did not vote. 100 million votes were cast... since someone could cast as many votes as he/she wants within the time limit, it's doubtful the unique voter number is anywhere close to 100 million.

I think it's gonna be Adam, I picked him from the start.  They've got an amazing lineup tonite, no matter who wins!

American Idol is fixed..I don't know how they do it..but they fix the numbers or something..either that or America is cold stone deaf..because all though Kris can sing..ok..he can't put a patch on Adams tonsil..or anything else for that matter...It's truly a shame Idol can get away with that..I am no longer an American Idol fan..they suck.  To set things strait..i am an older woman..who doesn't even like that ,much rock and roll..but I sure ain't blind and deaf yet.

Once again the contestant that tweens want to win wins. This is why this show sucks. If Lambert won at least everyone could say the person who deserved to win won because they had the most talent. Hell, even Kris at the end of the show said “Adam deserves this.” But in the end its better for Lambert. He’ll have record companies lined up at his door and involved in a bidding war, and “Idol” will get stuck with Kris singing a crappy “No boundaries” song and once again the producers will be pissed, why? Because all the tweens who voted for Kris, and all the people who voted for Kris simply because they didn’t want the person who should have won win (Adam) will not end up buying Kris’ album, and so Lambert will go on to make his new record company millions, and “Idol” will get stuck with Kris and “No boundaries.” And next year it will happen again, which is why this is officially my last year watching this show, and it should be yours. And yes, the Christian vote did play a role, with Kris and Gokey both church going boys, how could it have not?

Come on America!  We all know who the true talent was....Adam!  He will be the one with the fabulous career and he never could have gotten the exposure he did then from Idol.   I look forward to his album and wonder what venue he will pick.  Kris on the other hand it is hard to say what he will do...maybe country? They did not tell us who got what votes out of 100 million.  Wonder if it was close?

I wonder if its because the best singer is gay, well at least achieving second place will not ban him from recording studio doors. Yep we will see a lot of both guys and some of those that got chucked out earlier. Its all a case of whom will achieve the greatest fame and earn the most money for their talent in the near future.

I really think Adam won't make it as a commercial singer, when he squeales his high notes he sounds like a drag queen, & he wants to be a rock singer? Really. Realistically, no hope there, the gay market in the US has never supported a gay singer & it won't help Adam either.  The gay executives behind American Idol wanted Adam to be rammed down the people's throats- do you remember the costume of Katie Perry where the name of Adam Lambert was printed in the back? Well, his "noisy" fans don't have the numbers to support his career

Why these people cant just take the truth that america voted for the one who they think is the best talent.  not just a singer, but an artist himself.  KRIS sings with his heart and soul,, he sings with feelings and really a super idol in his own way.  America voted and this is what really matters.. just learn to accept and why do these people have grudges,, can't you see the truth clearly?  Kris is really an inspiration to all including the kids who love him and feel his songs.  KRIS deserves to WIN!!!,,,

It's hard to believe that Adam lost. I follow American Idol from India and I stay up till 2:00 AM in the night to watch the show. This proves that how much I like the show as it gives amazing singing talent year after year.

  Since beginning my favorite was Adam not only for his vocals but also for his modesty. In India we have Indian Idol on the same grounds and last year similar kind of situation occured as the deserving candidate lost. Yes, Reality shows are like that. Still I believe that Adam will go long long way... So Adam , Just keep singing and God is watching ....

Wow you guys in America have really got it WRONG!!!!! Adam is the most electrifying talent I have seen on this show ever. From the beginning I would have paid to see a concert with Adam, but Kris???? Sorry, but he's a dime a dozen, no uniqueness about him. To sell concerts you need talent, charisma and stage presence, ADAM has it all. I can't wait for him to hit the big time. We down here in the Land of Oz will be lining up to buy tickets to see this amazing artist. ADAM is an American Idol!!!!!!!!

I compeletly agree with you. There is not doubt that Kris didnt deserve it, and I am fourteen but I did not vote for Kris because of his looks(although he is really cute), all my votes that I cast were for his voice. He is gonna go far.

haha once again another failure by america haha may be thats why the economy crash.LOL . If they can't even pick adam who was clearly the winner i'm not suprise that the country made mistakes in the economy. Haha. But seriously aside from the part adam is gay or what genre either one of them are good in. American idol should be base on talent right thats why it is called a talent show and not wheter they touch the audience hearts which many said what kris did. If american idol is based on talent then adam should have won but if american idol is based on touching the audience hearts then they should change the name of the tv show to something else. Common sense shows a talent show is to pick the person who is the most talented lol well it just show what it reflects on the audience who voted.

Okay, so all these people are saying it should have been Adam. But how come it wasnt? Maybe because the people that like Adam dont vote. I voted for kris exactally 200 times. Imagaine if there were 100 of me that would be 20000 votes. which is 1/5 of 1 million(dont know if i did the math right) and there are toooonnns of people in the united states.

Actually, Bern, Jamie Foxx publicly said that his choice to win was Adam. 

just a thought, Danny's fans moved to voted for Kris, that's why... I already predicted that Kris will won this.
