Kristen Stewart Comes Clean About Affair with Snow White Director

It's one of the biggest stories of the year, and Kristen Stewart's alleged unfaithfulness to Robert Pattinson is an onion with many layers.

Last night (July 24) Us Weekly broke the news that the "Adventureland" actress was caught in a "steamy makeout session" with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, "a man twice her age."

The shutterbug who caught the action on film reportedly told the magazine, "It seemed like they couldn't get enough."

As a result of the truth coming to light, an insider told People magazine, "Kristen is absolutely devastated. It was a mistake and a complete lapse in judgment. She wasn't having an affair with Rupert. It was just a fleeting moment that shouldn't have happened. She never meant to hurt anyone. She's a good person who just made a bad choice." 

With her indiscretions now public knowledge, the "Twilight Saga" actress herself decided to release a statement. It reads, "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry." 

Following up on Stewart's press release, Rupert Sanders has also sent a message to the public apologizing for his infidelity.

The 41-year-old father of two, whose married to model Liberty Ross, states, "I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."

Speaking of Liberty, it seems Sanders' wife posted a picture of a drunk Snow White on her Instagram account with the quote, "Not so pretty and pure" a few days ago, only to quickly delete it.

Ross also supposedly took to the airwaves of Brisbane's 105.3FM to declare that she was actually the one in the photos with Rupert. Liberty is claimed to have said, "Oh well if thats true then I need to see what Mr. Pattinson is up to (laughs) no no no that is me in the picture. It is a sad part of being in this industry, we try to live our lives and the media feeds of our failures."

However, a source from the radio station has called out the interview as completely fabricated, tweeting, "No one called Liberty Ross has been on our station today."

Furthermore, LuLu Robsten, a credible source when it comes to Rob and Kristen's antics, took to Twitter to express dismay over the cheating photos. "Ok, so it looks like they're kissing in a car and outside, he's nuzzling into her neck. the story is explicit ... i hate this so much." 

Add that in with Pattinson's recent interview with Vanity Fair Italy, and it's quite possible that Robsten is done for good. The "Cosmopolis" star told the magazine, "There is one thing I've never understood: Why people cheat. My parents met when my mom was 17 and my father 25, they are still together, and seem very happy. I grew up believing that you can be together all of your life."
