The absence of an Artist Association in the Garhwali Films and Music album Industry is leading to exploitation of artists by the financers and producers. This was said by Rachita Kukreti an eminent film and Video Music Album artist on the sets of a new Music Video Album “Hiya Parani” directed by Arvin Negi Produced Basu Music Co.Rachita was of the view that the quality of the Garhwali Album was deteriorating due to the low budget of the producers as they were afraid of not receiving the costs of production even. As a result the artist were being paid very low and sometimes forced to work free of cost. She further said that it has become necessary as every contractor from nook and corners of Garhwal earning little money aspired to become a producer without gaining technical Knowledge. This attitude was hurting the quality of the albums and in this milieu talented artists were also getting hurt in payments. She reiterated the fact that to avoid such exploitation by the producers the artists working in albums, films and CD films should unite under one banner and working larger interest so that the artists in future do not have to face such exploitation. She lamented the fact the artists were always asked to sacrifice whenever the budget was low for any assignment and not the technician. She cleared that she was not against technicians getting good remuneration but artist also deserved a fair deal.  Rachita further said she was meeting artists in the region for a formation of association on the lines of Mumbai Artist Association and appealed all artists to join hands and form a forum to voice their grievances soon. She was happy with her present assignment and remuneration provided to her and said the producers of “Hiya Parani” have been thorough professionals till now. It is important to note Rachita Kukreti has dedicated her 11 years in this industry.

Anil Godiyal the co-ordinator of the album said that this album is full of “shringar Rasa” dedicated to the Army Jawans fighting at various border of the country. The song “Hum Kushal Chaun Maaji” is for them he added.Preetam Bhartwan has sung the song in the album and Camera has been done by Babloo Jungli.

Having a kind of socialist past and still being  a of left-leaning country I won't be surprised this "one banner" splits into small  factions and fight each other for crumbs... :)

It happens only and always in India. Jai Hoooo...... :))
