Music industry provocateur Lady Gaga is set to perform for the Queen Mother, that's right good ol' Elizabeth II, at the annual Royal Variety Performance in London on December 7, 2009. Hosted by Peter Kay at Blackpool's Opera House, this year's Royal Variety Performance is being held in aid of the Entertainment Artistes' Benevolent Fund, a charity of which Queen Elizabeth II is a supporter of.

The Queen’s aides will be hoping that Lady Gaga tones down her act for the Royal Variety Performance on December 7 at Blackpool's Opera House.

Alongside Gaga, entertainers Mika, Alexandra Burke, Michael Buble, Whoopi Goldberg, and Bette Midler are scheduled to perform at the 2009 Royal Variety Performance.
