Lady GaGa's 'Just Dance' Reaches Top of Hot 100 After 22 Weeks

Lady GaGa's powerhouse pop hit "Just Dance", which happened to top our list of the 20 most annoyingly catchy songs of 2008, has now reached the top of Billboard's Hot 100 charts.
Taking 22 weeks to go #1 Lady GaGa joins the elite musical royalty of the last group to take this long to reach the top: Creed.
So, basically, "Just Dance" is 2009's "With Arms Wide Open"?
Yeah, that sounds about right.
Lady GaGa ascends 2-1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with "Just Dance," which sold 279,000 downloads in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. At 22 weeks, the song makes the longest trip to the top since Creed's "With Arms Wide Open" (27 weeks) in November 2000.
